The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) is an independent U.S. government agency chartered by Congress to facilitate the financing of foreign purchasers of U.S. goods and services. EXIM Bank provides export credit support to foreign purchasers of U.S. products on term (2-12 years) basis.
The U.S. Trade & Development Agency (TDA) provides funding for feasibility studies, orientation visits, and specialized training grants, for industrial projects in emerging markets.
The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) is an independent U.S. Government agency that encourages mutually beneficial direct U.S. investment in developing countries and emerging democracies. OPIC assists U.S. investors through financing investments by way of direct loans and loan guarantees, and by insuring investments against a broad range of political risks.
The Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC), an affiliate of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), provides financing of private sector investment projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, invests in private ventures in developing countries by providing equity financing and loans without government guarantees in collaboration with other investors.
